Online ordering for Mother’sDay Weekend 2024 is now open.

We’re keeping things streamlined this year —- one of us (baker Brooke!) is getting/got married on May 4th and will be taking some days off this month, so that leaves even less of our tiny crew. We want to be able to put all of the love and care into our orders as always (and still have time to geek out about the details), so we will be limiting our menu and the number of each item that we sell for pre-order. SO — if you see an item on the menu you want to scoop up for your mama (or heck, for yourself - we don’t judge and we’re firm believers that Mother’sDay means a whole heck of a lot of different things and can celebrate a whole heck of a lot of different kinds of care-givers.) DO IT NOW, as it may not be available even an hour or so from when you see the menu! Seriously - Easter kicked our (my) butt and I can’t do that again.

We’re offering two types of cookie boxes - one assorted (similar to the photo at right, which is last year’s boxes), and one full of pressed-flower cookies. We’re offering two 6” cake flavors —- chocolate stout with vanilla buttercream, and vanilla+lavender with your choice of milk chocolate or honey buttercream. And we’re offering small single-layer (but oh so rich) olive oil cakes with pistachio glaze.

Note - these are the ONLY items we are taking for pre-order between now and then! If you are looking for a birthday/shower/baptism/etc cake, we will only be offering the 6” cakes on the menu - sorry, this is why we say to order early if you have an occasion coming up! We’ve already taken all of the specialty orders we can handle for that week/weekend.

That weekend - Friday through Sunday, we will do our very best to keep the case stocked with plenty of other ready-to-go/ready-to-gift goodies that might appeal to mamas. We’ll be making our demi cakes, and we’ll have plenty of loaves of English Muffin Bread, and ready-to-go tarts and a lovely assortment of smaller baked goods if you’d prefer to come in and make a little selection box. We recommend that if you go that route, please please please do come early, as we sometimes sell out early.

When you order, the system will tell you that your order will be ready in 5 minutes - that’s a lie - we’re not that good. Your order will be ready for pick-up on the day that you select from the drop-down menu. Please make note of the day you chose and mind the timeframe listed - it is more difficult/time-consuming/confusing than you may think to change things on our end once your order is in.
